Privacy Policy
b3 experience
Introduction
B3 Experience (“B3 Experience,” “we,” or “us”) is a U.S.-based company offering short-term vacation rentals, art, and design services through our website (https://b3experience.com) and related services (collectively, our “Services”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights regarding that data. This policy applies to all visitors, customers, and users of our Services. By using our website or Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect various types of personal information from you when you use our Services. This includes information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties. Examples of the data we collect are:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address (for example, when you make a booking or purchase art/furniture).
- Identity and Account Details: If you create an account, we may collect login credentials (such as username and password).
- Booking and Order Information: Details of short-term rental bookings (property booked, check-in/check-out dates, number of guests) and purchases of art or design items (items ordered, order date, delivery address, special requests).
- Payment Information: Payment details such as credit card number, expiration date, billing address, and other payment information. Note: We use secure third-party payment processors to handle payment transactions, so we generally do not store your full credit card numbers on our systems.
- Communication Records: Copies of your communications with us, including inquiries, emails, and customer service interactions. This may include your preferences such as your desired contact method or language.
- Marketing Preferences: Your preferences regarding receiving marketing communications (e.g., whether you have opted in to our newsletter or promotions).
- Device and Usage Information: When you interact with our website, we automatically collect data about your device and how you use our site. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type (e.g., mobile or desktop), operating system, referring website, pages viewed, clicks and time spent on our site, and other technical details. We gather this information through cookies and similar tracking technologies (explained below) to understand and improve your experience.
- Cookies and Tracking Data: Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies may collect information about your browsing behavior on our site, such as which pages you visited, items you viewed or added to cart, or if you accessed our site via an advertisement. (See Cookies and Tracking Technologies section for more details.)
- Third-Party Provided Information: If you book a B3 Experience property through a third-party platform (for example, Airbnb or another booking partner), that platform may provide us with your personal information and booking details so we can fulfill your reservation. Similarly, if you engage with our social media pages or sign up for our mailing list via an integrated form, we may receive certain information (like your social media username or email address) from those third-party services.
We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our Services and carry out the purposes described in this policy. You may choose not to provide certain personal data, but doing so might limit your ability to book a stay, purchase products, or use some features of our website.
How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes, all aimed at providing you with a great experience and carrying out our business operations:
- To Process Bookings and Orders: We use your information to fulfill orders and confirm property bookings. For example, we process payments for your art or furniture purchases, reserve your vacation rental dates, and send you booking confirmations or purchase receipts.
- To Provide Customer Service and Communications: We use your contact information to communicate with you about your orders or bookings. This includes sending pre-stay information, check-in instructions, updates or changes to your reservation, shipping confirmations for purchases, and responding to any inquiries or support requests you send us.
- To Send Marketing and Promotional Materials: With your consent (where required), we use your email and preferences to send marketing emails, promotions, newsletters, and special offers about our properties, products, and services. For instance, we might send updates on new art collections, upcoming rental availability, or discounts. You can opt out of these communications at any time (see Opt-Out of Marketing Communications below).
- To Improve and Personalize Our Services: We analyze how users interact with our website and Services to understand usage and improve our offerings. The information about pages visited, products viewed, and overall site engagement helps us optimize site layout, develop new features, and personalize content or recommendations. For example, we might suggest content or properties that align with your interests or past interactions.
- For Analytics and Performance: We use data (like device information and browsing activity) to monitor the performance of our website, detect technical issues, and gauge the effectiveness of our content and marketing campaigns. This helps us ensure our site is functioning properly and securely.
- For Security and Fraud Prevention: We may use personal information (especially account and transaction data) to protect against, investigate, and deter fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity. For example, we might use certain data to verify identities for bookings, monitor for suspicious behavior on user accounts or multiple failed payment attempts, and ensure rentals are not booked under false pretenses.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations: In certain cases, we need to use your information to comply with laws and regulations. For instance, maintaining transaction records for accounting and tax purposes, satisfying business record-keeping requirements, or responding to lawful requests by government authorities.
- Other Purposes with Your Consent: If we intend to use your personal data for a purpose not listed here, we will explain it to you at the time of collection and, if required, obtain your consent.
We will not use your personal information in ways that are incompatible with the purposes above without notifying you and, if necessary, obtaining your consent.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and analytics scripts) to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our site.
What Are Cookies: Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or device when you visit a website. They help the site recognize your device on subsequent visits. We use cookies for a variety of functions:
- Essential Cookies: These are necessary for the website to function properly. For example, they allow you to add items to your shopping cart, log into a user account (if applicable), and secure your connection. Without these cookies, certain Services (like the checkout process or booking engine) may not work.
- Preference Cookies: These cookies remember your preferences and settings to enhance your experience. For instance, they might recall your language selection or other site preferences so you don’t have to set them each time.
- Analytics Cookies: We use analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) that set cookies to collect information about how visitors use our site. This data includes details like which pages are visited, how long users stay, how they navigated to our site, and what they click on. We use this information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and not directly identifiable to you.
- Advertising and Tracking Cookies: We may partner with third parties (such as Facebook/Instagram via a Facebook Pixel or other advertising networks) that use cookies or pixels to track your activities on our site and other sites over time. This information is used to provide you with personalized ads on other platforms and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. For example, if you visit our site and view a particular rental property or art piece, you might later see an advertisement for that property or item on Facebook. These cookies and pixels collect information like your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, which may be sent to the third-party partner for ad targeting purposes.
Your Choices for Cookies: On your first visit to our site, you may have seen a cookie notice or banner. By continuing to use our site, you agree to our use of cookies as described. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings. Most web browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, or alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that if you disable certain cookies, some parts of our site might not function correctly – for example, you might not be able to complete a booking or a purchase.
For analytics cookies like Google Analytics, Google provides an opt-out mechanism (such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on) if you do not want your site activity to be available to Google Analytics. For advertising cookies, you can often opt-out via industry websites (such as the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool) to disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising.
Do-Not-Track Signals: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that lets you signal to websites that you do not want to be tracked. Currently, there is no uniform standard for how to interpret DNT signals, and our website does not respond to these browser settings. We continue to monitor developments around DNT and may revisit this policy if a standard emerges. However, you can still manage cookies as described above to control online tracking.
How We Share Your Information
We understand the importance of your personal information and do not sell your personal data to third parties for profit. We only share your information with third parties in certain circumstances, as described below, and always with appropriate protections. These third parties are contractually or legally obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Here are the types of third parties with whom we may share personal information and why:
- Service Providers (Processors): We share information with trusted third-party companies who perform services on our behalf and help us run our business. Examples include:
- Payment Processors: When you make a purchase or booking, your payment details are transmitted to our payment processing partners (for example, credit card processors or services like Stripe or PayPal) to process the transaction. These third parties specialize in secure payment processing and are required to comply with PCI DSS security standards.
- Email Marketing Platforms: If you subscribe to our newsletter or promotional emails, we may store your name and email address with an email service provider (such as Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform) that helps us design and send out marketing communications. They will use your information only to send emails on our behalf and to improve our email outreach (for instance, to organize our mailing list or analyze open rates).
- Booking and Reservation Partners: For managing rental bookings, we might use third-party booking software or integrate with platforms like Airbnb or other reservation management systems. These service providers will receive your booking details so that the reservation can be managed, and they may send you automated communications (e.g., booking confirmations or reminders) on our behalf.
- Shipping and Fulfillment Partners: If you purchase artwork, furniture, or other physical products, we share the necessary information (your name, address, and phone number if required) with shipping carriers or fulfillment companies to deliver your order.
- Website Hosting and IT Providers: Our website might be hosted by a third-party hosting service, and we may use IT service providers or developers to maintain and improve the site. In the normal course of providing these services, these parties may have access to stored information (for example, information in our website database) but will only use it for maintenance or troubleshooting purposes.
- Analytics and Advertising Partners: We use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics) as mentioned, and these involve sharing your device and usage information (such as IP address or browsing data) with those partners so they can provide aggregated insights. Additionally, if we use advertising networks or social media partners (like Facebook through the use of Facebook Pixel) for retargeting ads or marketing campaigns, some information about your visit may be collected by or shared with those partners to enable such ads. For example, a Facebook Pixel on our site may inform Facebook that you visited our site or took a certain action, which can help us display a relevant ad to you on Facebook or Instagram. These partners are not allowed to use your personal data for their own unrelated purposes, and you can opt out of much of this tracking as described in the Cookies section of this policy.
- Business Partners and Property Owners: In some cases, we may partner with other businesses or individuals to operate certain rental properties or experiences. If a particular B3 Experience property is co-hosted or managed by a local partner or property owner, we will share with them the information necessary to arrange and support your stay. This could include your name, contact details, and booking details. All such partners are required to handle your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
- Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your personal information when required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, such as a subpoena, court order, or regulatory demand; (b) protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of B3 Experience, our customers, or others; (c) investigate or assist in preventing any violation of law or this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service; or (d) respond to an emergency that requires disclosure of data to prevent harm.
- Business Transfers: If B3 Experience is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or financing, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy, personal information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction. If such a transfer occurs, your personal information would remain subject to the promises made in this Privacy Policy (unless, of course, you consent otherwise). We would notify you (for example, via a prominent notice on our website or email) of any change in ownership or use of your personal information in such a scenario.
- With Your Consent: In situations not covered above, if we need to share your information for a new purpose, we will do so only with your consent. For example, if you ask us to refer you to an independent art consultant or request that we share your details with an interior designer, we will only do so with your explicit direction.
Again, we do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or profit. Any sharing of data is solely for legitimate business purposes as outlined and, where required by law, we ensure appropriate data processing agreements are in place with such third parties.
Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously. B3 Experience implements reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption: Our website is secured via industry-standard encryption protocols. For example, when you enter sensitive information (such as payment details) on our checkout page, that data is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This helps prevent eavesdropping on the information while it’s in transit.
- Secure Payment Processing: As noted, we use reputable third-party payment processors that are PCI-DSS compliant. This means they follow strict standards for security when handling your credit card and payment information. We do not store full credit card numbers or security codes on our own servers to reduce risk.
- Access Controls: Personal data stored in our systems is accessible only to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job duties (for example, customer service staff, booking managers, or IT administrators). These personnel are trained on the importance of privacy and security.
- Network and System Security: We maintain technical safeguards such as firewalls, secure network architectures, and, where appropriate, anonymization or pseudonymization of data. We keep our website platform and plugins up-to-date to patch security vulnerabilities, and we monitor our systems for possible attacks or intrusions.
- Organizational Policies: We have internal policies and practices to ensure that your data is handled safely. For instance, we limit the printing or downloading of personal data, require the use of strong passwords and two-factor authentication for system access where possible, and contractually require any service providers with access to personal data to also implement strong security measures.
Despite all our efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Data Retention
We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
- Active Accounts and Transactions: If you create an account with B3 Experience, we will retain your account information while your account remains active or as long as needed to provide you with services (such as maintaining your booking history for reference). For one-time transactions (like a completed booking or purchase), we retain the information related to that transaction to complete the transaction and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of any follow-up needs.
- Marketing Data: We retain information used for marketing purposes (like your name and email for newsletters) until you opt out of receiving marketing communications or ask us to delete that information. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we will keep minimal information (such as your email address) on a suppression list to ensure we honor your opt-out request in the future.
- Legal and Compliance Retention: In some cases, we may need to keep certain information for longer periods as required by law. For example, we may retain transaction records and correspondences for a number of years to comply with tax, financial, or regulatory requirements. Similarly, if we are resolving a dispute or enforcing our agreements, we will retain the necessary information until the issue is resolved.
When we no longer have a legitimate business need or legal obligation to keep your personal information, we will securely dispose of it. This may involve deleting it from our databases, or in some cases anonymizing it so it can no longer be associated with you. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because the data is stored in backup archives), we will ensure that the data remains securely stored and isolated from further processing until deletion is feasible.
Your Rights and Choices
You have certain rights regarding your personal information, and we want to make sure you can manage and control your data in line with applicable U.S. privacy laws. The availability of some of these rights may depend on where you live (for example, California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, described below). We will honor any applicable rights and have processes in place to do so.
Access and Correction: You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections or updates if any of it is inaccurate or out of date.
- How to Access or Update: If you have an account on our website, you can log in and review or update certain information in your profile (such as your contact details). For any personal information not editable through your account (or if you don’t have an account), you can contact us at the email provided in the Contact section below to request access or correction. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming control of your email address or asking for additional information) before providing you access to your data or making corrections, to ensure we don’t modify or disclose data to the wrong person.
Deletion (Right to Erasure): You have the right to request that we delete your personal information that we have collected about you.
- How to Request Deletion: You can contact us to request deletion of your data. Upon receiving and validating a deletion request, we will remove or anonymize the personal information we hold about you from our records, and instruct any service providers to do the same, except to the extent we need to keep certain information to comply with legal obligations or for other exceptions permitted by law. For example, we might retain information for a completed transaction as required for tax records, or keep information necessary to exercise or defend legal claims, even if we delete other data about you. We will inform you if any such exceptions apply in the case of your request.
Opt-Out of Marketing Communications: You have the choice to opt out of receiving marketing emails or newsletters from us at any time. (See the dedicated section Opt-Out of Marketing Communications below for detailed instructions on how to unsubscribe.) Even if you opt out of marketing messages, please note we will still send you transactional or service-related communications (such as booking confirmations, updates about your reservation, receipts for purchases, or important information about your account) as these are not promotional in nature.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a resident of California, you are entitled to specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments (including the California Privacy Rights Act, or CPRA). These include:
- Right to Know: California residents can request that we disclose what personal information we have collected, used, and disclosed about you over the past 12 months. You may request to know: the categories of personal information we collected; the specific pieces of information we have about you; the categories of sources from which the information was collected (e.g., directly from you, from your use of the site, from a third-party booking platform, etc.); the business or commercial purpose for collecting the information (such as those listed in the “How We Use Your Information” section); and the categories of third parties with whom we shared your personal information.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you (with some exceptions as noted earlier and as allowed by law). Once we receive and verify a Californian consumer deletion request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
- Right to Correct: California residents have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you. If you believe any of your information is incorrect, you can request that we fix it. We may need to verify the accuracy of the new information you provide and certain documentation before honoring the correction.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: The CCPA gives you the right to opt-out of the “sale” of your personal information or the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. However, B3 Experience does NOT sell personal information for money, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing or advertising purposes outside of the context of providing our services. If we ever engage in practices that qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data under California law, we will implement appropriate opt-out mechanisms (such as a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our website). As of the date of this Privacy Policy, such a link is not provided because it is not applicable – we do not sell or share your information in that manner.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information: To the extent we collect any information considered “sensitive personal information” under California law (for example, precise geolocation, or financial information like credit card details), California consumers have the right to direct businesses to limit the use of such information only to that which is necessary to perform the services. We do not use sensitive information for purposes beyond what is required to provide our Services (e.g., using payment info solely to process payments), so this right is generally not implicated by our current practices.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means if you choose to exercise your privacy rights (such as requesting deletion or opting out of sale), we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of services just because you exercised your rights. The CCPA permits businesses to offer certain financial incentives for the collection of personal data (for example, a loyalty program). If we ever offer such a program that involves the collection of your personal information, we will provide you with appropriate notice and details so you can make an informed decision about participating, as well as how to opt out. (At this time, we do not provide such incentives.)
Exercising Your Rights (Including California Requests): To exercise any of the above rights or to send us a privacy request:
- Contact us via email at the address listed in the Contact Us section below. Please include your name, contact information, and specify which right or request you are exercising (e.g., “California Access Request” or “Delete my information”).
- For California residents making a CCPA request, please indicate that you are a California resident and describe your request in detail. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request – this is to protect your privacy and ensure we don’t disclose or delete someone else’s information. Verification may involve confirming information we already have on file (such as details of a past transaction or your email address). In certain cases, we might ask for additional information or documentation solely for the purpose of verifying your request.
- You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. If you do so, we will need proof that the agent is authorized to act for you (for example, a written and signed authorization or a power of attorney, plus verification of the agent’s identity). We will also independently verify the request with you (e.g., by contacting you) unless the agent has an official power of attorney per California law.
We will respond to privacy requests within the timeframes required by law. Under CCPA, we typically have 45 days to respond to your request, which can be extended by an additional 45 days if necessary with notice to you. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and let you know how we will process it.
Other U.S. State Privacy Rights: If you are a resident of a state that has enacted its own privacy laws (such as Colorado, Virginia, or others), you may have similar rights to access, delete, or correct your data, as well as to opt out of certain data processing activities. We intend to honor all applicable state privacy laws. You can contact us to inquire about your rights under your state’s law, and we will assist you in exercising those rights as required. We apply the principles of transparency and control uniformly, so even if you are outside of California, we will do our best to accommodate any reasonable request regarding your personal information in line with applicable laws and our capabilities.
Managing Your Information
We want to ensure that the personal information we have about you is accurate and up-to-date. Here are some ways you can manage your information with B3 Experience:
- Reviewing and Updating Account Information: If you have created an account on our site, you can log in at any time to review and update your profile information (such as your name, contact details, or saved preferences). Please keep your information current so we can serve you best (for example, an outdated email might prevent you from receiving important booking information).
- Correcting Information: If you notice any inaccuracies in the personal data we hold about you, please contact us so we can correct it. As noted above in Your Rights, California residents and others with similar rights can formally request corrections, but regardless of your location, we will work to correct inaccurate information upon request.
- Deleting Your Information: You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will take necessary steps to honor your request (see Deletion and California Privacy Rights sections for details on how we handle such requests and possible exceptions). If you have an account, and you request deletion of all your data, we may need to close and remove your account as part of fulfilling the deletion request.
- Downloading/Porting Your Data: Although not explicitly required under U.S. law except in certain cases, if you would like a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable format (for example, to transfer to another service), you can ask us. We will provide it to the extent it’s feasible and required by law.
Please note, for any significant changes to your data or requests (especially deletion), we will likely ask you to verify your identity as described earlier to ensure the security of your information.
Opt-Out of Marketing Communications
If at any time you prefer not to receive marketing or promotional emails from us, you have the right to opt out. Here’s how you can manage your email subscriptions and promotional communications:
- Unsubscribe Link: Every marketing email we send (such as newsletters, special offers, or promotional updates) includes an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. By clicking that link and confirming, you will be removed from our marketing mailing list. Please note it may take a few days to process the opt-out, during which you might still receive communications that were already in progress.
- Contact Us to Opt Out: If you have any trouble using the unsubscribe link or prefer to reach out directly, you can email us at our contact email (see Contact Us below) and request to be removed from marketing communications. Please provide the email address you want unsubscribed and specify that you wish to opt out of promotional emails. We will manually ensure your address is removed from our marketing list.
- Managing Preferences: If we provide a user preference center or account settings for communications on our website, you can also adjust your communication preferences there (for example, choosing which types of emails you want to receive or opting out entirely). We will honor the latest preference saved in our system.
When you opt out of marketing emails, please be aware that this does not opt you out of transactional or service emails. We will still send confirmations, receipts, important updates about your bookings or purchases, and responses to your direct inquiries. To stop all email communications from us, you would need to cease using our Services entirely (for example, not making new bookings or purchases) or specifically request that we delete your email from our records (which we will do in accordance with the Deletion process above, as long as we do not need to retain it for transactions or legal reasons).
We do not engage in text message (SMS) marketing at this time. If we ever introduce SMS or other channels of marketing, we will provide clear instructions for how to opt in and opt out of those as well.
Third-Party Websites and Links
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by B3 Experience. For example, we might provide links to our listings on Airbnb or links to our social media pages (such as Instagram or Facebook), or reference third-party services related to our offerings.
Please note: Once you click these links and leave our site or interact with a third-party service, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. The privacy practices of those third-party websites or services are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices employed by any third-party websites. We recommend that you review the privacy policy of any website you visit or third-party service you use.
For example, if you book a stay through Airbnb via a link on our site, the personal information you provide to Airbnb will be subject to Airbnb’s privacy policy. Similarly, if you engage with us on social media (like commenting on our Instagram content), the information you share is governed by the platform’s policies.
We provide these links and integrations for your convenience and to enhance your experience, but we encourage you to exercise caution and review the privacy statements of all third-party sites and services.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old. The vacation rentals, art, and design services offered by B3 Experience are intended for adults (and in the case of rentals, bookings should be made by individuals 18 or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information to us (for example, by filling out a form on our site or via some interaction), please contact us immediately (see Contact Us below). We will promptly investigate and delete the information from our records if we find that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent.
Teenagers between 13 and 18 should only use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you are under the age of majority in your place of residence, you should not make purchases or bookings on our site without parental consent.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on our website and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
If changes are significant, we may also notify you in a more prominent way. For example, we might send an email to the address we have on file for you or display a notice on our website’s homepage.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting the personal information we collect. Your continued use of our Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy have been posted will be considered acceptance of those changes, to the extent permitted by law.
